Coat and Blanket Drive
For many years, Portland's homeless agencies were assisted by a little-known program from the U.S. Defense Department that provided emergency blankets to groups serving homeless people. These blankets supplemented our own community drives. Transition Projects has had unfilled requests into the Department of Defense for two years. As a result, we need you more than ever to ensure that no one is abandoned to the cold this winter.
Please drop off donations of blankets and adult-sized coats at 435 NW Glisan Street (24 hours a day, 7 days a week).
