Everyone can be great because anyone can serve. You don't have to have a college degree to serve. You don't even have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve...You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love. ~Martin Luther King, Jr. Volunteers from the community bring energy, skill, enthusiasm, and support to individuals transitioning from homelessness to housing. The Meal Provider program, Computer Resource Room, Continuing Education and Employment classes directly connect volunteers with residents and staff at Transition Projects. The presence of volunteers in each of the shelters is crucial to an atmosphere focused on growth, change and empowerment. We work with more than 1,000 volunteers each year and welcome the opportunity to work with you!
Everyone can make a difference Please contact our Volunteer Coordinator via e-mail or by calling (503) 823-4926, x4 to get involved in these volunteer opportunities:

The Meal Providers bring energy and joy to the shelter nearly every night of the year and we would welcome your group to participate in this truly touching experience!
