Be a Meal Provider
Participate in our Meal Provider volunteer program by providing, preparing and serving a meal to 90 men or 55 women in one of our transitional shelters. This is a great group project! We have opportunities available almost every night of the year. As a meal provider, you will get a group of 5 to 9 people together to prepare and serve a meal. Our meal providers provide the food and cook either onsite or offsite. It is a fun and rewarding experience!
Organize a donation drive
Coordinate a donation drive to collect items such as towels, hygiene products, blankets and coats. Work with your employer, church, civic group or friends and family to collect and deliver them to Transition Projects. Please download our donation kit for assistance preparing your donation drive.
Participate in various projects
Projects come up throughout the year, such as organizing, cleaning or painting, when we need the assistance of volunteer groups. We welcome your ideas for a group project.
Please contact our Volunteer Coordinator via e-mail or by calling (503) 823-4926, x4 to get involved in these volunteer opportunities.
