SE Grand Recovery Shelter — Now Open!

Transition Projects is proud to partner with the City of Portland to open a new overnight, recovery-oriented shelter — providing an essential step in helping people move from homelessness to housing. The SE Grand Recovery Shelter will provide 140 overnight shelter beds — with the ability to expand to 200 beds during severe weather — for people who wish to be in an alcohol- and drug-free environment. While participants are in this shelter, we’ll work alongside them to take the next steps in their recovery and housing journey.

Addressing homelessness in our community continues to be as urgent as ever. Together, we can ensure that the most vulnerable individuals, couples, and their pets have a safe space to sleep.
