The Resource Center helps connect people to a wide range of resources and services daily.

The Transition Projects’ Resource Center gives individuals experiencing homelessness access to support services and connects individuals and couples to our programs.

Help Provided In Our Resource Center

Restrooms & Showers

Hygiene services are available Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m - noon. Restroom and shower- slots are 15 minutes and the last time slot is 11:30 a.m. Towels, soap & shampoo are provided.

Laundry

Laundry services are provided free of charge, Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m - noon. The last time slot is 11:00 a.m. Please sign up at the Hygiene Station.

Mail Service

Mail may be picked up:

  • Monday - Friday
    8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

IMPORTANT: Transition Projects ID CARD is required for all mail to be picked up.

*All mail should be sent to 650 NW Irving Street, Portland, OR 97209, to the attention of the recipient.

Haircuts

Barber available on-site on Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday from noon - 2:00 p.m.

Sign up at the Hygiene Center.

Shelter

Our staff can help refer clients to open shelter beds. Visit us Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. to learn more.

You may also fill out a Pre-Screening Form on our website

Clothing

Our clothing closet for adults is available:

  • Monday, Wednesday, & Friday
    1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Locker

Lockers are available daily for individuals to use to store valuables in a safe and secure location. Please visit our Front Desk.

ID Support

We provide a Declaration of Homelessness needed to apply for a free ID Card from the DMV. We do not provide driver’s licenses or birth certificates. Please visit our Front Desk.

Health & Wellness

Bridges Collaborative Care Free Clinics

On the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month 10:00 a.m. -2:00 p.m.. Care includes: dental, sexual and reproductive health, vision, medical, and wound care.

Getting off the streets was one of the hardest things I’ve done. Once stable, I decided that I wanted to give back to the programs and services that helped me move forward.
